Tryin' out the new wheels.
I don't normally post series, but I really enjoyed this fishing series. This happened at Sweetwater Strand in the Everglades.
Just like a Great Blue... the Green is the ultimate in patient. Sitting... staring... waiting for the perfect moment.
When something interesting presents itself, he leans forward slowly with fantastic muscular control in his legs.
It's amazing how far off center this bird can hold his position.
Finally, he launches himself like a dart into the water. He rarely misses.
With fish under control, he jumps back to the branch to enjoy his lunch.
Greens have a nice crown. I guess he's excited about his impending meal.
Down the hatch!
And now, to fluff off the water. Flexible neck!
